This use of information is primarily for the purpose of improving our services, including fulfilling takeoff service orders and customizing the user experience on our platform. Also, this data may be employed in marketing activities, always respecting the applicable privacy laws.

7. AI AND LEARNING MODELS

To this end, we reserve the right to use user account data and project documents uploaded to our platform, such as blueprints, plan images, budget line items, estimated cost data, quantitative adjustments and markups on plans, among others, in the training and development of our AI, machine learning and machine vision models.

1build.com API: In our platform, we integrate the 1build.com API to access their construction cost database. This integration allows us to provide up-to-date and relevant information to our users. Any personal information shared with 1build.com through this API will be handled in accordance with their privacy policy. We will not use the API to collect personal information without the explicit consent of our users. We are committed to protecting and respecting the privacy of our users in all interactions with the 1build.com API.

QuickBooks API: In our platform, we integrate the QuickBooks API to facilitate accounting and financial management services. The information accessible through this API is limited to data necessary for the provision of our services. We are committed to maintaining the confidentiality and security of all financial information obtained, and to use it only for the purposes agreed with our users. The handling of this data is governed by our privacy policy and is in accordance with QuickBooks’ terms of service and applicable data protection laws.

Takeoff Services Provided by Third Parties: On occasion, Builder Bid may utilize the services of qualified third parties to fulfill or assist in the performance of takeoff and estimating service requests. These collaborations are undertaken to ensure the quality and efficiency of the services offered to our users. When contracting these external services, we ensure that such third parties comply with our privacy policies and confidentiality standards. However, Builder Bid is not responsible for the actions or services of these third party providers. Users should note that the use of our services implies acceptance of this practice.

Business Transfers. In the event that Builder Bid creates, merges with, or is acquired by another entity, your information will most likely be transferred. Builder Bid will email you or place a prominent notice on our website before your information becomes subject to another privacy policy.

Protection of Builder Bid and others.
